About the Speaker:
Paul R. Bastean is a highly motivated and successful entrepreneur, known for founding and leading multiple successful ventures. His current focus is on Ultimate Defense Firing Range & Training Center, which boasts an 18-lane indoor shooting range, a retail store, and a comprehensive training center, complete with a shoot-house. This establishment has become a blueprint for success among aspiring entrepreneurs looking to launch their own training centers, firing ranges, and retail outlets. Paul's commitment to evolving his offerings to meet the demands of his customers has garnered him a nationwide following of business owners who seek his advice on delivering top-tier customer experiences.
Following the triumph of Ultimate Defense, Paul identified another niche market in assisting law firms, auction houses, and private individuals who come into control of large collections of firearms but lack the expertise to legally manage or create dispositions of them. To address this need, he founded Heritage Estate Services and Firearms Appraisals. This venture quickly rose to prominence and has established itself as a reputable source for consulting, appraising, and purchasing estate firearms.
Following the achievements of both Ultimate Defense Firing Range & Training Center and Heritage Estate Services and Firearms Appraisals, the leadership of the National Shooting Sports Foundation took note of Paul's exceptional talent for revitalizing existing enterprises and broadening their market reach. In April 2018, Paul was offered and accepted a seat on the National Shooting Sports Foun dations Range Advisory Board. Since that time, Paul has taken the stage as a distinguished speaker at several NSSF Retail / Range Ex pos, presented at the NRA Annual Meeting, and has also been highlighted as a featured speaker at the NSSF Leadership Conference.
Presently, Paul is actively engaged in spearheading a project known as The National Firearms Council. This initiative aims to establish a standardized nationwide framework for firearm appraisals, certify professionals in the field, and develop a comprehensive resource for the handling and disposition of firearms at a national level.
