About the Speaker: Andy is a partner at Proskauer Rose LLP in the Private Client Services Department. He is based in the Los Angeles office.
Andy’s practice is focused on estate, gift, income tax of trust, and generation-skipping tax planning. He also helps resolve disputes between trustees and beneficiaries, and provides advice on the establishment and operation of charitable entities. Andy also handles post-death administration of wills and trusts.
Andy received his BA from the University of Michigan and his JD from the University of Michigan School of Law. He earned an LLM in Taxation from the University of San Diego School of Law. Andy has taught estate planning courses at UCLA, Golden Gate, and the University of San Diego Law Schools. He currently teaches Estate and Gift Tax at USC Law School and Estate Planning in UC Irvine Irvine’s LLM program.
Andy is an ACTEC member. He is rated ‘Band One’ in Chambers, both Nationally and in the Western Region of the United States. He speaks regularly at the USC Tax Institute and the Hawaii Tax Institute.
